Eligibility

The following individuals and all of their immediate family members residing in the same household are prohibited from ordering a ticket: Board members and employees of The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, members of the UHN Board of Trustees and Executive Team, Princess Margaret Cancer Centre Executive Team; partners and employees of MNP LLP and its affiliates; employees of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Ltd., the NHL, NHL Enterprises Canada LP, the NBA, NBA Properties Inc., NBA Media Ventures LLC; and members of licensed gaming suppliers providing services to this program.

Participants must be at least 18 years of age. Tickets cannot be ordered in the name of a minor. Only tickets that have been paid for and/or have been verified as paid for are eligible to be entered for the respective draw(s). Tickets must be ordered and delivered within the province of Ontario.

By purchasing a ticket, you agree to allow us, The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, and its licensed gaming suppliers providing services to this program, the right, if you are a prize winner, to use and publicly disclose your name, municipality of residence, image, photograph and likeness as a prize winner in any means required by the terms of our lottery license and/or that we consider appropriate for purposes of administering and promoting the lottery, without notice, review or approval or additional compensation to you.

The liability of the licensee of this lottery shall be limited to the purchase price of the ticket.

Tickets

Tickets are $100 each or a 3-Pack* for $250 or a 5-Pack* for $375 or a 10-Pack* for $700. Tickets numbers will be issued in sequential order. *Guidelines for purchasing a 3-Pack or 5-Pack or a 10-Pack are as follows:

  • Only ONE method of payment.
  • Only ONE mailing address.
  • Only ONE envelope will be mailed containing all ticket numbers.
  • Up to THREE names may be recorded on a ticket. 

*All tickets in a pack must contain the same information.

The official ticket is a receipt of purchase. It is the responsibility of ticket purchasers to ensure that they receive their ticket/s; however, participants do not need their ticket/s in hand in order to be included in the respective draw/s. No refunds will be issued after commencement of the draws. Ticket purchases are not tax deductible.

Official tickets will be delivered to the customer via email and/or letter mail. For all ticket orders where a valid email address is provided, the official ticket receipt will be provided by email within 3-5 business days. Where no email address is provided, official ticket receipts will be mailed. Ticket purchasers may request a physical copy of their ticket(s) at the time of purchase or by calling Customer Service at 1-800-542-8813. Physical ticket (s) will be mailed to the address provided at the time of the order within 7-10 business days.

Draw Order

The first draw will be for the Loyalty Prize. Only tickets ordered by Midnight, August 28, will qualify for the Loyalty Prize Draws. The draws (10 prizes) will take place on September 9, 2020 at approx. 8:00am. The next draw will be for the VIP Prize. Only tickets ordered by Midnight, September 18, will qualify for the VIP Prize Draw. The draw (1 prize) will take place on September 30, 2020 at approx. 8:00am. The next draw will be for the Bonus Prize. Only tickets ordered by Midnight, October 9, will qualify for the Bonus Prize Draw. The draw (1 prize) will take place on October 20, 2020 at approx. 8:00am.

*In the event all tickets are sold by the Early Bird Prize Deadline of Midnight, November 6, then draws for all remaining prizes, will be made on November 17, 2020 at approx. 8:00am at the offices of MNP LLP. The first draw would be for the Early Bird Prize, followed by draws for all remaining prizes starting with the lowest valued prize and concluding with the $6 Million Grand Prize.

The top valued prize winners and the Early Bird Prize winner will be announced live on CP24 on November 19, 2020 between 7:00am and 6:00pm at the Grand Prize Showhome in Oakville.

**In the event tickets remain after the Early Bird Prize Deadline, then only the Early Bird Prize draw will take place on November 17, 2020 at approx. 8:00am at the offices of MNP LLP and the winner will be announced live on CP24 Breakfast on November 19, 2020 between 5:30am and 9:00am at 299 Queen Street W. Toronto, M5V 2Z5. Marketing will continue to the Final Sales Deadline of Midnight, November 20.

The remaining prize draws will then be made on December 1, 2020 at approx. 8:00am at the office of MNP LLP starting with the lowest valued prize and concluding with the $6 Million Grand Prize. The top valued prize winners will be announced live on CP24 on December 3, 2020 between 7:00am and 6:00pm at the Grand Prize Showhome in Oakville.

Tickets ordered before the Loyalty Prize deadline will be eligible for all 16,035 draws. Tickets ordered after the Loyalty Prize deadline but before the VIP Prize deadline will be eligible for 16,025 draws. Tickets ordered after the VIP Prize deadline but before the Bonus Prize deadline will be eligible for 16,024 draws. Tickets ordered after the Bonus Prize deadline but before the Early Bird Prize deadline will be eligible for 16,023 draws. Tickets ordered after the Early Bird Prize deadline will be eligible for the remaining 16,022 draws.

Draw Control

Ticket Fulfillment and Draw Control by MNP LLP.

Prize draws follow a strict set of procedures, with draw control oversight by the professional services firm of MNP LLP and under licensing approval by the licensing body (AGCO).

All draws will be made using Random Number Generator software (RNG) under the supervision of MNP LLP.  Winning ticket numbers are eligible for all subsequent prize draws.

All draws will take place at the offices of MNP LLP, 111 Richmond St W #300, Toronto, ON M5H 2G4.

The records of MNP LLP shall be deemed correct and final.

Prize Winner Notification

All winners will be notified in writing as to what they have won and how to claim their prizes. A searchable list of winners will be posted online at PrincessMargaretLotto.com. If all draws are completed on November 17, 2020, winners will be posted on Thursday, November 26, 2020. If all draws are completed on December 1, 2020, winners will be posted on Thursday, December 10, 2020. A printed list of winners will be available upon request. Prize Claim

Prizes will be awarded to the individual(s) named on the official ticket. Prize notification letters are addressed to the primary ticketholder. It is the responsibility of the primary ticketholder to allocate the prize if necessary. Prizes awarded may not be exactly as illustrated.

†† Prize values stated are retail value as of date contracts were negotiated with suppliers and are independently verified by prize suppliers, as per AGCO rules.

Custom grand prize homes may include many custom upgrades, unique features and the full retail replacement value of all of these features including appliances and finishes, flooring, landscaping etc. Real estate retail prize values are calculated based on contracted purchase price and include: land purchase price, value of home construction, materials, labor, permits, all taxes applicable including full HST, cost of site preparation, landscaping, carrying costs, furnishings, and decorating.

Due to housing market fluctuations, the market value of the real estate prizes may rise or diminish over time. Winner or charity is not entitled to the difference, if any, between the stated and actual market value at the time the prize is awarded.

Winners of real estate prizes will be required to sign a Full & Final Release prior to the home being transferred.

Prize values include taxes and freight, where applicable. 

The Loyalty Prize comprises: ten (10) Apple Packs: iMac Computer, iPad Pro, AppleWatch Series 5, AirPods, HomePod and TV 4K Device. Total Loyalty Prize Value: $5,593.43.

The Ultimate Fan VIP Prize comprises:  one (1) prize consisting of: (i) one (1) pair of 2020/2021 Toronto Maple Leafs season seats (including playoffs▪) located in the “Red” arena seating area; (ii) one (1) pair of 2020/2021 Toronto Raptors season seats (including playoffs▪) located in the “Side Prime” arena seating area▪; (iii) one (1) pair of 2021 Toronto FC season seats (including playoffs▪) located in the “North East Field Side” seating area (including BMO Club fees which provides club access and all-inclusive food and non-alcoholic beverages within the club area (iv) $10,000 Cash. Estimated retail value of Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Raptors season seats (including playoffs▪) is $100,520. Estimated retail value of Toronto FC season seats (including playoffs▪ and club access) package is $8,946. Total VIP Prize Value: $119,466.

▪ Specific seat locations to be determined by Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Partnership.  Ticket use subject to applicable venue code of conduct and the terms and conditions on reverse of each ticket. Tickets are available only for the specified season and are non-renewable.  Prize recipient shall be responsible for any costs or expenses not specifically described above as being included in the VIP Prize including, but not limited to, transportation to and from the venue, other drinks/meals, gratuities, souvenirs, and all incidental and personal expenses.

▪ In the event the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Toronto Raptors, and/or the Toronto FC season is cancelled, the estimated cash value of the cancelled tickets will be paid to the prize winner by Princess Margaret Lotteries.

▪ In the event the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Toronto Raptors, and/or the Toronto FC do not qualify for participation in the playoffs or do not complete all applicable stages of the playoffs, the estimated cash value of the unused portion of the prize will be paid to the prize winner by Princess Margaret Lotteries.

VIP Prize must be accepted as awarded. Winner of the VIP Prize will be required to sign a release.

The Bonus Prize comprises: one (1) prize – A Condo at 330 Richmond Street, Unit 2516, Toronto, fully furnished (value $899,000); $100,000 Cash; Mirvish Gift Certificate valued at $2,000. The Mirvish Gift Card will be awarded as cash by the Princess Margaret Lotteries if the theatres are closed due to the global pandemic. Total Bonus Prize Value: $1,001,000.

The Early Bird Prize comprises: one (1) prize – Muskoka Lakefront Cottage on Paint Lake, fully furnished (value $1,410,000); $25,000 Cash. Total Early Bird Prize Value: $1,435,000.

The $6 Million Grand Prize comprises: one (1) prize – Showhome, Oakville fully furnished (value $ 4,927,112.50); 2021 Porsche Taycan 4S (value $159,594.98); $1 Million Cash. Total Grand Prize Value: $6,086,707.48.

Vacation prizes will be awarded as cheques payable to the primary ticketholder for the value of the trip as described in the lottery brochure at the time of printing. The prize winner may contact the prize supplier to make travel arrangements should they wish to take the trip as described. There is no requirement that vacation prize funds be used towards a travel purchase.

Prize winners are asked to claim prizes in a timely manner following notification.  Any prizes which are not claimed shall be secured for a period of six (6) months from the date of the draw. Unclaimed prizes will be reported, and a charitable allocation will be approved by the licensing body.

Fall 2020 Princess Margaret Home Lottery offers an exciting 50/50 Add-On option for its supporters.

50/50 Add-On tickets must be ordered in conjunction with and at the same time as your Home Lottery ticket and will be assigned to the same ticketholder. 50/50 Add-On orders will not be accepted after your original Home Lottery ticket order date.

There will be no restriction on the number of 50/50 Add-On tickets offered for sale.

50/50 Add-On tickets are 5-pack for $25,15-pack for $50 and 25-pack for $75. All tickets in a pack must contain the same information.

All 50/50 Add-On tickets must correspond to the primary ticketholder’s name in the Princess Margaret Home Lottery database.  50/50 Add-Onticket(s) will not be assigned to an alternate name(s).

50/50 Add-On ticket numbers ordered will be issued in sequential order and will be listed on your Home Lottery Official Ticket receipt and will begin at 5 000 001.

If a ticket order for the Home Lottery is cancelled, any and all 50/50 Add-On tickets ordered with that ticket will also be cancelled.

Official tickets will be delivered to the customer via email and/or letter mail. For all ticket orders where a valid email address is provided, the official ticket receipt will be provided by email within 3-5 business days. Where no email address is provided, official ticket receipts will be mailed. Ticket numbers will be issued in sequential order and will begin at 8 000 001.  Prices are: one (1) for $25, 3-pack* for $50, or a 6-pack* for $75. For each order placed, one Calendar ticket receipt will be issued. The Calendar ticket receipt will list one, three or six Calendar ticket numbers.

Draw Order

The draws for the twenty (20) Holiday Cash Prizes of $5,000 will be made at approx. 8am on December 9, 2020. MNP LLP will randomly select one (1) winner from among all eligible ticket numbers for each of the twenty (20) Holiday Cash Prizes to be awarded on December 9, 2020.

The remaining 500 Cash Prizes – 400 Daily Cash Prizes of $1,000, 85 Daily Cash Prizes of $10,000 and 15 Friday Cash Prizes of $40,000 will take place on December 11, 2020 at approx. 8:00am. MNP LLP will randomly select one (1) winner from among all eligible ticket numbers for each of the five hundred (500) Cash Prizes to be awarded from December 11, 2020 to March 20, 2021. All winners will be notified in writing within two (2) weeks of the day for which their winning ticket was selected.

Prize Winner Notification

All prize winners will be notified in writing within two (2) weeks of the day for which their winning ticket was selected. Winning results from the Holiday Cash Prizes will be posted on the website at PrincessMargaretLotto.com on December 9, 2020. Winning results for the Daily Cash Prizes ($1,000 and $10,000), and Friday Cash Prizes will be posted on the website at PrincessMargaretLotto.com every day from December 11, 2020 to March 20, 2021.
